Counterline Brings Industry Together for Inaugural Charity Golf Day Supporting Alder Hey Children’s Charity

10/06/2026NewsRyan Parker

Counterline was proud to host its inaugural Charity Golf Day at Childwall Golf Club, welcoming customers, suppliers, industry partners, colleagues and friends for a memorable day of golf, networking and fundraising in support of Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

More than 70 golfers took part in the event, representing businesses from across the foodservice, catering, manufacturing and construction sectors. Together, they helped create a fantastic atmosphere while raising valuable funds and awareness for one of the UK’s most respected children’s charities.

As a Liverpool-based manufacturer, Counterline is passionate about supporting local communities and making a positive difference beyond the workplace. Alder Hey Children’s Charity holds a special place in the hearts of many families across the region, providing vital funding for life-saving equipment, pioneering research, enhanced facilities and specialist support services for children and their families.

The day featured a Texas Scramble competition, on-course challenges, networking opportunities and fundraising activities, all underpinned by the generosity and support of those who attended.

Jack Rice, Director of Sales Strategy & Development at Counterline, commented:

“Our inaugural Charity Golf Day exceeded all expectations. It was fantastic to see so many customers, suppliers, partners and friends come together for such an important cause. The support shown throughout the day was truly humbling and demonstrates the strength of the relationships we have built across our industry. On behalf of everyone at Counterline, thank you to all those who attended, sponsored, donated and contributed to making the day such a success.”

Counterline would like to extend special thanks to the sponsors whose generosity helped make the event possible:

  • Triline
  • Cooper8
  • Harrison Carr
  • Dock
  • Uncle D’s
  • MCL Refrigeration
  • Showmaster
  • NWCE
  • LED Electrical
  • Stone Connection
  • LR Parts
  • Aalco
  • Under Control
  • Munch Buggy

Their support played a significant role in helping us deliver a successful event and maximise the funds raised for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

We would also like to thank Childwall Golf Club for their hospitality, professionalism and support throughout the day, as well as every player, donor, prize sponsor and volunteer who contributed to the event’s success.

While the final fundraising total is still being confirmed, we are delighted with the outcome and look forward to sharing the amount raised in the coming weeks.

Following the success of our inaugural event, we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2027 Counterline Charity Golf Day.

Together, we have demonstrated what can be achieved when an industry comes together to support an incredible cause.

Thank you for helping us support Alder Hey Children’s Charity and the life-changing work they carry out every day.
