A fresh food-to-go offer, ready for the new academic year
Counterline recently supported a summer refurbishment at Glasgow Caledonian University, working with Steve Leslie at Williams Refrigeration to replace four outdated refrigerated displays that were no longer operating effectively.
The project covered the George Moore Restaurant and Annie Lennox Coffee Kiosk, where the aim was to refresh the presentation of chilled food and drinks while improving the self-service experience for students and staff.
Counterline supplied four MC4ASMD3 Manhattan self-service refrigerated wells, each fitted with shelves to create a clear, high-capacity display for sandwiches, snacks, bottled drinks and grab-and-go products. The self-service format gives customers easy access to the food offer while maintaining a smart, premium look across both locations.
As the refurbishment was completed during the summer holidays, Counterline also coordinated the removal of the existing displays and the installation of the new units on site. This ensured the areas were fully transformed and ready for students returning for the new term.
The completed installation has given both the George Moore Restaurant and Annie Lennox Coffee Kiosk a fresher, more contemporary look, with versatile chilled display solutions designed to support a stronger food-to-go offer throughout the busy academic year.
