Counterline’s latest project for Asda Food Hub is set to revolutionize the convenience sector with its innovative approach to grab-and-go dining. Equipped with the cutting-edge Vision Aire system featuring our easy lift-up gas ram option, Counterline ensures seamless operations and top-notch performance. The project aims to cater to consumers seeking quality options at affordable prices, aligning perfectly with Asda’s mission to provide value-driven solutions to its customers.
Located initially in Asda’s Leicester and Dagenham stores, the Food Hub introduces a new concession at the front of the store, offering premium grab-and-go items such as freshly-prepared sandwiches, delectable cakes, and barista-style coffees. This initiative follows a recent £1.2m overhaul of Asda’s traditional food-to-go range, emphasizing the retailer’s commitment to diversifying its offerings and enhancing the customer experience. By incorporating more variety and quality options, Asda aims to solidify its presence in the convenience sector, meeting the evolving needs and preferences of its discerning clientele.
In conjunction with the launch of Asda Food Hub, the retailer is also embarking on a comprehensive refresh of 10 pizza and hot food counters across its stores nationwide. Locations including Ipswich, Killingbeck, Havant, and more are slated to undergo a makeover, aligning these counters with the brand and experience of Asda Food Hub. This strategic move underscores Asda’s dedication to providing consistency and excellence across its entire portfolio, ensuring that customers enjoy a premium dining experience wherever they go.
