Recently Counterline was approached to support our distribution partners, Space Group, as they were entrusted with the task of redesigning the restaurant and servery counters at Tong & Tingley Garden Centre in Bradford.
The primary goal of the project was to create a space that could efficiently accommodate a large number of customers during busy lunchtimes, considering both self-service and served hot food options. Understanding the client’s needs and aspirations was of utmost importance to thoroughly grasp the requirements before commencing the garden centre commercial catering area design project.
We pride ourselves on comprehending any brief we receive, taking visions and translating them into reality. Leveraging their expertise in design, the Space team provided expert advice and presented various options for consideration, empowering the client to make informed decisions that aligned with their business objectives and catered to their customers’ preferences. Working closely with the Space team allowed us to supply the ideal food display solutions to meet the clients’ every need.
The final design for the garden centre included two expansive servery counters. The first Counterline food display counter, designed in a large u-shape, featured a deli section where customers could enjoy coffee, cakes, and cold drinks. The second servery counter, beautifully adorned in brushed aluminium and complemented by retracting hanging pendant heat lamps, catered to the serving of hot food.
We successfully completed the entire project within a span of twelve weeks, from inception to completion. Tong Garden Centre expressed great satisfaction with the food display solutions, as the design effectively met their requirements and enhanced the overall dining experience for their valued patrons.
