The 145th SPAR store opened by James Hall & Co. has recently undergone a full store refurbishment in order to offer students the very best in convenience store shopping, and now provides a range of fresh products, delicious food-to-go and homeware essentials.
The refurbishment means the store can now offer hot and cold food options which include salad boxes, pizza and pasta, and a range of curries from company owned food brand, Fazilas. They also provide a range of cakes and pastries for those looking for delicious sweet options.
It was essential that the new SPAR store at Lancaster University catered for a wider range of people with varying needs, and it now offers many more options for healthy snacks, vegan and gluten-free diets, and even offers a large international foods section.
To support the in-store menu of fresh hot & cold meals and for the neatly fitting food to go area, Counterline provided wide versions of their Heated Bain Marie & Refrigerated display well. The additional bank of 1/3 Gastronorm containers provides an additional 38% capacity and allows the full menu offering to be presented.
The Manhattan range specification includes temperature controllers for both upper and lower heat, and jacketed quartz bulbs. This is encased in 10mm toughened clear glass giving the unit a timeless elegance based on simplicity and purity of design.
To further assist SPAR in the sales of cakes, Counterlines Vision Aire (SVCL600-GO) provides the perfect showcase for delicious sweet treats. This includes the celebrated Counterline easy-lift glass feature for quick replenishment and dressing another win with the operator.
