Counterline has received M0 (-1°C to 4°C) classification of a refrigerated display case, selected from its idesign range.
The classification was verified by Refrigeration Developments & Testing (RD&T), with the temperature performance and carried out under the EN23.953:2015 standard.
The chilled ‘drop in’ was also assessed for refrigerant flammability and safety of a commercial refrigerating appliance according to BS EN 60335-2-89:2010 within RD&T’s test chamber.
Counterline approached RD&T to help with hydrocarbon safety testing and independent validation of the temperature and energy performance of its display.
RD&T’s Alan Foster commented: “It was great to work with Counterline on this project. The company was very keen to make sure that it got the performance of the cabinet right. The technical and design team really engaged with us to ensure that all our recommendations were applied.”
Owner and operations director of Counterline, Andrew Perry, added: “This certification gives representation to the Counterline brand and of the people behind it.
“With the regulation around the use of F-Gas coming into force in 2020, our partners know that we are able to support low GWP and carbon friendly initiatives.”
